Designed for the sporty indoor/outdoor dogs of Vail, Colorado, this is a durable, dark-colored dog mat made from heavy hemp canvas and washable, organic kapok filler. Removable cover is made from 100% pesticide-free hemp fabrics (with a stripe of upholstery-grade hemp/flax blend fabric), and the liner is made from fabric derived from a blend of organic cotton and hemp. The  down-like organic kapok filler creates a naturally soft cushion that is designed to lower your dog's exposure to harmful chemicals that outgas from the petrochemicals in polyurethane foam rubber and polyester/polyethylene ("polyfill") fillers. This practical, healthy dog bed is made from sustainable/biodegradable materials for healthy, environmentally-conscious consumers like you -- and your dog.
